The short version
Meeteligence helps you prepare for meetings by researching companies, contacts and email history. We only access what you explicitly authorize, we never sell your data, and you can delete everything at any time.

Meeteligence ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered meeting intelligence platform accessible at meeteligence.com. We help professionals prepare for meetings by combining company research, LinkedIn insights and email history into a single actionable brief.

2. What data we collect
Information you provide directly
- Access code used to sign in
- Meeting details you enter (company name, contact name, role, meeting type)
- LinkedIn profile URLs you submit for lookup
- Additional context you type into the form
Information from Google (if you connect Gmail)
- Your Gmail email address (to identify your account)
- Email metadata: sender, recipient, subject line, date and preview snippet
- We search only for emails related to the specific contact and company you enter
- We do NOT read full email body content — only metadata and snippets
- We do NOT store your emails on our servers
Information we do NOT collect
- We do not collect passwords
- We do not store payment information (handled by Stripe)
- We do not collect your IP address or device fingerprint for tracking
- We do not use cookies for advertising

4. Google API usage
Meeteligence uses Google APIs to access Gmail and Google Calendar when you explicitly connect your account. Our use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Limited Use disclosure
Meeteligence's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Gmail data to search for emails related to the specific meeting contact you enter — for no other purpose.
- We request read-only access to Gmail — we cannot send, delete or modify emails
- We request read-only access to Calendar — we cannot create or modify events
- We only search for emails matching the contact/company you enter in the form
- Google tokens are stored in your browser session only and are never sent to our servers for storage
- You can disconnect Gmail at any time by clicking "Disconnect Gmail" in the app
- Revoking access: visit myaccount.google.com/permissions to revoke Meeteligence's access

Meeteligence is designed with a minimal data footprint:
- Meeting details and generated briefs exist only in your browser session
- Gmail tokens are stored in sessionStorage — cleared when you close the tab
- We do not maintain a database of user sessions or generated briefs
- Server logs (standard Netlify logs) are retained for 30 days
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Delete — request deletion of your data
- Disconnect — revoke Gmail/Calendar access at any time within the app or via Google account settings
- Opt out — stop using the service at any time

8. Security
We take security seriously:
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
- API keys are stored as server-side environment variables — never exposed to the browser
- Gmail tokens are stored only in your browser session — never on our servers
- We do not log or store the content of generated briefs
9. Children's privacy
Meeteligence is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Meeteligence after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
